With a debut album around the corner, the French-Cuban twin sister duo Ibeyi is starting to open the vault.
The video for “Ghosts” is their latest offering, a sublime journey in black-and-white that visually isolates the individual pieces of Ibeyi’s songwriting. Hand drums, piano, and their trademark harmonies overlap in both sight and sound.
Ibeyi’s self-titled debut album will be released February 17 on XL Recordings. The twins will embark on a short U.S. tour following SXSW in March. Dates below:
