Nick Klein is a duo from the Netherlands made up of Nick Klein on vocals and producer Ferdous Dehzad. The name may indicate that Nick is the star here, but their new song “Paralyzed” wouldn’t be what it is without that exhilarating production from Dehzad.
Instead of going with the usual sounds you’d expect backing a smooth, emotionally charged vocal delivery, “Paralyzed” uses a mix of interesting synths, keys, low-end pulses, and percussion, all expertly arranged with enough space to make sure every element counts.
This is the first track off the duo’s upcoming EP. It’s a free download (for now), so grab it while you can.
