With Låpsley’s “Understudy” due out in January, the Liverpool native (born Holly Fletcher) has debuted a new song from the upcoming EP. “8896” follows “Falling Short,” and this second offering is similarly piano-driven, with minimal instrumentation leaving plenty of room for Låpsley’s warm, seemingly effortless vocals.
