It’s been a while since we’ve heard from New York-based singer Alex Winston, but she’s got a new album coming out on 300 in spring of 2015, and today she’s released “Careless” via Stereogum. This album will be her first since 2012’s King Con, and “Careless” is a sign of good things to come. It features a big hook that competes with her most gripping work, and it’s pop music done with an organic touch—something you can imagine sounding great in a live setting.
