“Lavender,” the latest from Glasgow-based producer/songwriter Turtle (aka Jon Cooper), is a wonderful, ambient instrumental cut that serves as the first track off his forthcoming Colours EP.
It’s an easy listen, one that’s quietly repeat-worthy and evidence of major progress from his 2013 Who Knows EP, which remains impressive in its own right. Getting lost in a record’s vibes is always a treat, and Turtle makes that particularly easy with “Lavender.”
