Don Von is a 21-year-old rapper from Virginia Beach. He’s working on his debut project Don’t Forget The Don, and this is “These Drugs,” the first single.
“I basically wrote the song for people like me, recreationally getting fucked up, enjoying life, careless of what people think,” Don says. “As soon as I heard the beat, I came up with the concept within 10 minutes, maybe because I was high.”
Production on “These Drugs” is by Australia’s Loonee, who heard some of Don’s previous work and reached out. On the scene in Virginia right now, Don explains, “There’s a lot of hidden talent in VA, we just trying to get people to lend us an ear.”
