With his highly anticipated Small VVorld EP on the way, Rome Fortune returns today with a new video for “One Time For,” the first of two well-received collaborations with Four Tet.
Directed by Goldrush, the visuals find Rome in full-on festival mode after a rare opening clip of an infomercial for the fictional (for now, at least) Rome’s Car Palace. Early on, Rome preps viewers for the “sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll” lifestyle that’s about to grace their screens, and that’s exactly what ensues. It’s a four and a half minute trip through performances, after-parties, muddy festival grounds, a school bus turned tour bus filled with women—you get the idea.
