HAERTS have been buzzing for over a year now, but they’ve been in no hurry. Today, they finally announce their debut self-titled album, set to be released on October 28. With the announcement comes their new single, “Giving Up.”
The band is based in New York City and signed to Columbia Records, and like label mates Haim, they combine traditional elements with a more modern approach. It’s well-produced and not afraid to dive into pop territory, but there are hints of classic rock that should make this more palatable to those looking for an alternative to bubblegum pop.
