At the end of last month, Childish Gambino announced a new mixtape called STN MTN/KAUAI. Today, he shares a new song called “Sober,” adding that it’s from the KAUAI side of the project. On Soundcloud, the song has “[rough]” next to the title, so we’ll see if this ends up being the final version—it sounds pretty complete as it is. On this one, Gambino flexes his vocals, avoiding any raps in favor of a more soulful, upbeat pop sound. STN MTN/KAUAI doesn’t have a release date yet. Check out “Sober” below.
