Here’s the new video for rising London band Years & Years’ lively, infectious single “Take Shelter.” The video stars Australian actress Emily Browning.
Singer Olly Alexander says of the video: “The song is about a relationship, how I felt manipulated by somebody but sort of liked it. I’d always wanted to get Emily in a video, she’s totally captivating, she has a magical face that makes you want to look at it all day long and I thought it’d be cool to see her as this tripped out forest pixie girl who was puts a spell on the band and makes us lose our minds.”
“Take Shelter” is the lead single from the band’s upcoming EP, out on August 19.
