Hailing from the South West of England and reworking Shura‘s heartbreaking melodies is R&B duo Honne. A month ago the two delivered a sensual track titled “Warm on a Cold Night,” and today they give us their twist on Shura’s melancholy “Just Once.”
Layering the innocent vocals of the singer/songwriter with a steady-handed beat and waves of synths, Honne adds a surprisingly pleasant pulse to the slow-burner while keeping the core of the song intact.
