Portland based singer/songwriter Dan Vidmar—better know as Shy Girls—delivers sensitive and innovative R&B near its best. The key seems to be his lyrics, lying in a realm of passionate emotion and seduction. His latest song, a collaboration with producer Jono Ma of Jagwar Ma is more upbeat than his usual sound, but as emotive as ever.
Shy Girls finds his niche in the pumping beat with lines like,”If I wouldn’t make out with you, I never wanna see it through, I would never fall for you,” backed by a groovy sound reminiscent of ’80s disco music. The track is presented by Red Bull Sound Select and it’s worth a listen, check it out below.
