Following down a similarly emotional path as her last song “Touch,” U.K. singer/songwriter Shura has released a new track for our hearts to latch onto. The track is titled “Just Once,” and it’s a poignant story about escaping a broken love, carried by a bed of soft, bubbling electronics.

Focussed around the subtly heartbreaking line, “If you get my name wrong I won’t get pissed off cause I wish I was somebody else,” the song showcases—once again—the honesty that is found within her writing. Pair that with down-tempo ’80s synths and subtle percussion, and one can find a touching sound somewhere between SoKo and Blood Orange. Have a listen below.
