Kaytranada remixes have become something to look forward to and relish. In a world flooded with remixes and reworks, we can always count on Kaytranada to bring his own style, while still doing the original song justice. As of late he’s been on a tear, supplying us with numerous remixes including Pharrell‘s “Happy” and Chet Faker‘s “Talk Is Cheap.”
Today we get his version of the catchy R&B number, “Wrote A Song About You,” from up and coming crooner, MNEK. The remix is ready for the dance floor, as Kaytranada builds slowly with delicate electronics and then amps it up with a steady bassline and warped synths, all the while letting the sultry vocals slowly seep through.
