On the heels of the release of their fourth studio album, the Baltimore based duo Wye Oak is gearing up to come to a city near you, embarking on a tour that will cover much of the US, and then hop the pond for a handful of shows in Spain and the UK. In anticipation of their July 5 departure, the duo have released “Logic of Color” as a single, it’s the fantastic closing track off their latest album, Shriek.
It’s a subdued pop smash, catchy melodies and repetitive vocals cementing the track into memory, while subtle electronics keep the song in check. It’s a great listen, one that’s probably going to make you want to sing along. Listen to the song below, and have a look at their tour dates.
