Following the successful release of two wondrous EPs in Bloodworks and Display, the UK five-piece Phoria has set the bar very high for their music. It’s only fitting that the same standard is translated into their music videos, and rest assured, following the release of the visuals for “Red,” it was clear that was the case. Now Phoria has gone on to do it again, dropping the exciting new visuals for their intense track “Atomic,” off Display.
Animated and directed by Jim Howells, the video—featuring wolves, deer, and other creatures—delivers a tense storyline through his use of symmetrical imagery, and what seems to be anime-inspired visuals. The video gives the song a fierce life of its own, watch the scenes unfold above.
