After first hearing Kill J back in June 2013, she was quickly placed in the coveted and sprawling ‘Scandinavian pop’ category—and while she very much fits the bill—her latest song gives off much more of an electronic feel. Today she releases “You Have Another Lover,” a chilling track that slows things down in comparison to previous songs “Bullet” and “Phoenix.”
As the production gently throbs over wailing falsettos, Kill J really seems to focus on the relationship between the vocals and production, almost to the point where the line blurs and you can’t tell them apart. Get lost in the song below, and check out her awesome video for “Bullet” here.
