British electronic duo Anushka, first started making noise in April with the release of their EP, Distorted Air. Comprised of producer Max Wheeler and the soulful vocalist Victoria Port, Anushka creates house music with a funk twist. Their sound works to carve a small niche in a flooded UK electronic scene, and gives the duo an edge to stand out amidst a crowd of electro-pop hybrids.
Their talent is exhibited once again with their new track “Mansions.” It’s a delightfully danceable song, one that captures your ear from the first kick of the drum, to the last whispers of Port’s jazzy vocals.
The song will be included as part of their new album Broken Circuit, being released by Brownswood Recordings on July 7.
