Today is Earth Day, and Portugal. The Man is making moves for the animals. They’ve partnered with Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute and recorded an song to raise awareness about the endangered Sumatran Tiger. There are 400 of these tigers left on the planet. The song is pressed to vinyl, with only 400 copies made. Each one will degrade after a certain number of plays, and no digital copies were released. This means that unless the record is ripped, uploaded, and shared, it will disappear forever.

This project is called Endangered Song. 400 tigers. 400 records. Through the sharing of the song, the goal is to raise awareness for an endangered species.

Share the song. Spread the message.
