For his first week as host of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon has pulled out all the stops. And last night’s episode was no different featuring appearances from Michelle Obama and Will Ferrell as well as a dazzling performance from Arcade Fire of their rapturing song “Afterlife.” We’ve seen them bring their disco ball theatrics to a number of stages before, but it never gets old—especially as the group continues to keep it fresh. This time, they turned the stage into a full-on runway with the light show seeming as impressive as ever. Even Win Butler can’t contain his jubilance, taking the show into the audience stands at the end. Just another reminder that if you haven’t caught Arcade Fire on tour yet, now’s the time to change that.
