On songs like “Monster” and “Heart Heart Head,” Los Angeles-based Meg Myers has earned a reputation for bringing a fiery intensity that builds and breaks. “The Morning After” doesn’t feature any of those big breaking points, but Meg still channels intensity, only this time it’s of a delicate nature, with a hint of Elliott Smith-style acoustic accompaniment and lyricism.
