Sweden’s Erik Hassle and Elliphant have both been busy in 2013. After a break from putting out music, Erik Hassle returned in 2013 with the massive single “Talk About It,” redefining his direction and honing in on a new sound, equal parts pop and R&B. Elliphant, on the other hand, has been in studios with Diplo and Skrillex while releasing high energy, genre-melding music and gearing up for her debut album, which she’ll have ready in 2014 with some help from Dr. Luke.
To cap off the year, the two Swedes come together. Elliphant has reworked Erik Hassle’s “Talk About It” on the new Sikow remix, softening it by stripping the production and adding her own vocals on top before reaching a breaking point around the 2:20 mark.
