After blindsiding us completely with his remix of Lorde’s “Royals,” Rick Ross, the gift who keeps on giving, has hopped on the remix of yet another pop song. Taking Lady Gaga’s R. Kelly-assisted “Do What U Want,” Ross goes ahead and does he wants with it, tacking on some rhymes to the sensual original.
Why? This, I cannot answer. It certainly makes more sense than him on “Royals,” but hey, the new year is quickly approaching, so perhaps Rick Ross is resolving to further bridge the gap between hip-hop and pop.
