With Childish Gambino’s sophomore studio album Because the Internet set to drop next week, last night the rapper took to RapGenius—his “most visited site”—to answer a few fan-submitted questions. Though the conversation deviates to his thoughts on religion, Camp, his hairline, and many other topics, Childish talks mostly about the process behind making the album. He also breaks down the meaning of songs like “Flight of the Navigator,” “Sweatpants,” and “Life: the Biggest Troll.” And acknowledging how fans were able to ask such in-depth questions about the album’s song lyrics and beats, he cheekily says in his closing message: “happy leak day.”
