Ever since they released their Random Access Memories earlier this year, Daft Punk have been popping up everywhere. Their latest appearance featured the duo touring Amsterdam with Ron Burgundy, Will Ferrell’s Anchorman character, for a segment during last night’s MTV Europe Music Awards. In the clip, Daft Punk and Burgundy rode a three-person bicycle and ate cupcakes together. It’s a little bizarre, but considering Miley Cyrus wore this to the show and then lit a blunt on stage, bizarre was pretty par for the course last night.
While it is almost certainly not actually Daft Punk in the video above, the real Daft Punk were actually in Terry Richardson’s studio recently (or were they?!) for a brilliant photoshoot, which includes some great shots of the robots in the signature Richardson pose.
