Thom Yorke and Atoms for Peace premiered their incredible stop-motion video for “Before Your Very Eyes” last night at the Hollywood Bowl. It’s very involved…you can see a making-of here. Yorke woke up the next day and sent out a sneaky easter egg tweet to direct fans to the video, but he’s directly linked out the video since, so our collective conscience are clean.
This is unbelievable video technology. Yorke’s body is revealed in pieces, stretching out from a pulsing chocolatey landscape like the dismembered Statue of Liberty in Planet of the Apes. Once again, Yorke proves himself capable of making something that sounds totally disgusting…absolutely beautiful. Watch the video above and check Yorke’s sneaky tweet below.
