For years now, Scandinavian pop has offered a slightly more experimental alternative to the mainstream pop in America, but the lines are being blurred. European music’s influence is being felt in America, and at the same time European acts who balance experimental nature with international accessibility are balancing things out. Icona Pop may be the best example, but Sweden’s Tove Lo is on the come-up and with songs like “Habits,” she’s sounding like the next to blow up. Here’s her latest, “Out Of Mind.”
