London Grammar - "Nightcall" (Kavinsky Cover)

None

This past September, indie pop trio London Grammar released their debut album If You Wait. It features this new single, a cover of Kavinsky‘s “Nightcall,” which rose to popularity as an integral part of the electronically laden Drive soundtrack. London Grammar’s take on the eerie hit is subdued and melodic, a move approved by Kavinsky himself via Facebook. This version leaves you feeling more like you’re being pursued with romantic infatuation and less like you’re about to be molested by a deranged HAL 9000 computer from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The “Nightcall” single EP will release on December 8, until then listen to the band’s debut album If You Wait on Spotify.
