Donald Glover: "I'm Afraid I Hate Who I Really Am"

None

In a series of handwritten notes scribbled on a hotel pad, Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino opens up about his state of mind. Leading up to the release of his next album, Because The Internet, due this winter, Donald seems to have a lot to get off his chest. In his notes, shared on Instagram, he runs through some of his fears before explaining why he wants the album out around Christmas even though the label wants a different release date. He ends things by explaining the point of this album:

I got really lost last year. But I can’t be lonely tho. Cause we’re all here. We’re all stuck here. I wanted to make something that says, no matter how bad you fuck up, or mistakes you’ve made during the year, your life, your eternity. You’re always allowed to be better. You’re always allowed to grow up. If you want.
