As anticipation for Bitter Rivals continues to grow, Sleigh Bells have released a second track off the forthcoming release. “You Don’t Get Me Twice” returns the band to the cinder block guitars and huge drums of their earlier music, distorted vocals buzzing over it all to create a truly cacophonic display. But there’s a couple moments where the band backs off to reveal a new sound, inspired somewhat by the Pixies‘ “loud-quiet-loud” formula.
We’ve already heard the title track from “Bitter Rivals” and this second cut is a sign of good things to come. The album comes out October 8 via Mom + Pop. Stream “You Don’t Get Me Twice” below:
