Stream Nylo's New Mixtape "Indigo Summer"

After Nylo‘s “Take it Back” came out a few weeks ago, it was obvious that this Chicago girl with the pipes of an angel is on the cusp of a hellish ride to stardom. Just off a deal with Epic, her latest mixtape Indigo Summer helps reveal why the debut EP she released last year earned co-signs from artists like Nas and Mac Miller.

On this the seven song release that premiered on Fader today, Nylo takes saccharine pop and blends it with more experimental production—courtesy of collaborators like Tricky Stewart, 55 Billion and Fisticuff–then coats all of this with a gloss of harmonies and voice sampling techniques reminiscent of Imogen Heap. Stream the mixtape below and look for another one this fall entitled Indigo Rose. Also check out the colorful, longing-filled video for “Fool Me Once.”
