Nine Inch Nails is Back With a New Song, Album Out This Fall

NIN

The latest artist to come out of the woodwork in 2013 is Trent Reznor. His genre-defying, highly-divisive musical past with Nine Inch Nails has sparked incredible amounts of discussion in the and certainly will continue to do so now that he has a new album on the way. The first single he shared is called “Came Back Haunted” and falls into the industrial sound that made NIN infamous, but mixed in with those heavy rock elements are hints of dance floor synths. The artwork was also designed specifically for the song by British artist Russell Mills, according to a tweet that Reznor sent out last night.

The Nine Inch Nails frontman also announced that the new album will be called Hesitation Marks and will be released this fall on September 3. In addition, he’s going to be touring in support of it, with Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Explosions in the Sky as opening acts. Check out the new song and tour dates below.
