So much has been said about Kanye West throughout his career, and considering the 2013 he has in front of him, there’s sure to be much more added. But it’s always cool to hear an artist speak for themselves, especially one as cerebral and passionate as Ye. Which is what makes this fan-made documentary so interesting; it splices together rare interview clips, soundbites and performance footage to remind us of who Kanye West the musician is, and not who Kanye West the cultural figure is.
