Sam Smith, perhaps best known for his feature on Disclosure‘s “Latch” has released a stunning, stripped down take on the track that has us swooning. We’ve previously heard Sam’s croons before on tracks like “Lay Me Down” that revealed his soulful side, the song was another Disclosure collaboration as they produced the track.
On his own for this one, Smith unearths the bare bones of the track, pairing his voice with just a piano and some spare string accompaniments, he performs against a dark backdrop with only an old-fashioned mic to pour out his heart into. Certainly a contrast to the Disclosure version, this whets our appetite for even more from the UK singer.
