Benin City quickly became one of our favorite new acts earlier this year, and then “Faithless” dropped and sealed the deal. While it’s hard to make any direct comparisons to the eclectic London group whose sound covers an impressive spectrum of styles, “Faithless” has a TV On The Radio feel to it, balancing a forward-thinking, experimental sound with a touch of something a little more primal. Benin City’s debut album Fires In The Park is expected on July 1 and “Faithless” will be out on June 10.
