After some time making music under a few different names, she’s settled on Laura Welsh and moved in a new direction, teaming up with Dev Hynes for “Unravel” and continuing on the same path of R&B-tinged electronic music that’s of-the-moment and more exciting than your typical singer/songwriter aesthetic.
