And just like that, without any warning, we’ve officially entered Yeezy Season. After getting everyone’s undivided attention last night through premiering “New Slaves” at 66 different locations, Rap-Up is now reporting that Kanye West‘s sixth LP will be called Yeezus, to be released on June 18.
Is this surprising? Not entirely. We are talking about the same man who adorned his head with thorns, mimicking Jesus, in his photoshoot with Rolling Stone a few years ago. Details should be confirmed later tonight, when ‘Ye takes the stage at Studio 8H as musical guest on the season finale of Saturday Night Live.
