Chance the Rapper doesn’t hide the fact that LSD played a role in his breakthrough project, appropriately titled Acid Rap. In this clip, he says about 30% of the tape involved acid, and he explains to MTV that “it’s not hard to rap on acid.” Still, he insists that the drug was a boost and not the central focus of the project.
