This is the classic. The apex of hipsterdom. For the typical human being, if you like a song, you like a song. End of story. Sure it can grate a little the 15th time you hear it on one day, blaring out of a passing taxi, but you don't suddenly hate the track and you're not suddenly going to sneer at someone who says they love it. For the hipster though, with every play on the radio and every new person who can hum a song's chorus, they like it a little less. It's an extension of "I was into them two years ago" syndrome, a reflection of the hipster's burning desire to be "different" and "alternative," and it's a fucking stupid reason to dislike a song you once loved.
