We’ve already gotten a taste of The National’s upcoming album thanks to footage from recent live shows and today we get the record’s first studio material. “Demons” is a sweeping track, full of rich instrumentation paired perfectly with Matt Berninger’s deep, baritone voice. The track comes with a video, which depicts an artist recreating the album’s cover art with chalk using time-lapse footage. Trouble Will Find Me is out May 21, stream the lead single above.
