2. TNGHT - "Acrylics"

"You ever hear a track and realize that damn near everything else you'd been listening to was pretty small in comparison? Somehow, Lunice and Hudson Mohawke made me reevaluate everything else in my playlist from this past week." —@khal

3. Denai Moore - "Part 4"

"There's something about unrequited love that lends itself to songwriting like no other topic. Even at the age of 19 Denai Moore has already experienced heartbreak and she turns that feeling into such a quietly despairing track that it recalls the listener's own initial devastation. Strummed acoustics and a powerhouse voice round out a song straight out of a raw heart, but the Moore's voice still manages to feel like balm on an open wound." —@harmonicait

4. Miguel ft. Kendrick Lamar - "How Many Drinks? (Remix)"

"I may or may not have squealed at work when I saw this. As if the original doesn't already get me going on the regular, Kendrick Lamar decided to hop on this seductive, no-bullshit cut, giving Miguel's suave bargaining skills a little bit of edge. The truth is it probably would only take about one drink." —@_joyceng

5. Bipolar Sunshine - "Fire"

"If you needed a soundtrack for the romantic drama that exists in your life (or you'd just like a song lined up for when a little Nicholas Sparks-level action rears its head), gifted British singer/producer Bipolar Sunshine has you covered. On "Fire," he splits time between lilting, memory-drenched verses and soaring hooks (even interjecting a bit of soft-spoken rapping) to create a sonic tapestry both unique and immediately comfortable." —@JonTanners

6. Joywave ft. KOPPS - "Tongues"

"I don't do a lot of dancing, but I heard this one at 2 in the morning and couldn't hold back. Also, hearing this at 2 in the morning meant I was up until 5 flailing around alone in my apartment like a crazy person, and there's something to be said about a song that can actually give you physical energy. Going to drink Red Bull and vodkas all weekend and listen to this on repeat. See you on Monday." —@PigsandPlans

7. Meg Myers - "Heart Heart Head"

"I have a very tangible connection with music in that when I hear something absolutely fantastic I get so happy that I jump around and maybe even cry a tear or two. Basically I look like a complete asshole. But nothing has shook me lately like Meg Myers' latest—it's raw on a whole new, terrifying but exciting level. I'm not a fan of female angst music, but fuck this song makes me want to start a riot." — @katertot527

8. Jacques Greene & Tinashe - "Painted Faces"

"Canadian producer Jacques Greene had earned my undying love and respect for understated dance tracks like "Baby I Don't Know (What You Want), " so hearing him hook up with a vocalist like Tinashe who can enhance his downcast, melodic beats is not something to be missed." —@TheConstant_G
