Ghost Loft—the project of L.A.’s Danny Choi—has already impressed with remixes and the first single “Seconds.” As he gears up for an EP to drop later this year, we get another original, “So High.” This is one of those tracks that perfectly fits the title, and it does so without being so blatantly drugged up and trippy that it feels forced, like your friend who just smoked weed for the first time and keeps talking about how high they are. This is more subtle and comfortable in its own skin, euphoric but composed, and it’s another good sign of things to come from Ghost Loft. Listen/download below.
