Guru once said, “it’s mostly tha voice.” So simple, so true. Standing out in today’s flooded shitfest of music is not easy—everyone is flinging noise around, and a lot of it sounds suspiciously similar.
Dublin’s Slow Skies fits in nicely with a lot of the sparse, enchanting pop of the moment, but the second Karen Sheridan’s charmingly impish vocals come in, “On The Shore” differentiates itself from the rest.
This is the first song to be released from Slow Skies’ EP Close, out May 4th.
