Interactive videos are hit and miss. A lot of times, trying too hard to make a video interactive leads to viewers asking the inevitable question: why? Tanlines kept it simple for the new “Not The Same” video, letting viewers resize and move band members around like little Photoshop layers, turn different instruments on and off, and choose from background options including Jupiter, a fishbowl, and the Williamsburg Bridge. Yeah, it’s a little pointless, but instead of asking “why?” it may be more appropriate to ask “why not?”
