Theophilus London and Jesse Boykins III have been longtime friends and collaborators (they wrote “Humdrum Town” and “Cold Pillow” together) and the two have decided to reconnect as Paris 96 for an EP due out in April. Blending Theophilus’ Paris-inspired raps with Boykins’ chilled out, soulful vocals and an electronic vibe (think Flume, not Skrillex), these guys are keeping the genre-bending mindset alive and well.
