It’s been three years since they’ve released any new material, but Vampire Weekend are back. Following 2010’s Contra, their forthcoming project will be “dark” and “organic” according to frontman, Ezra Koenig. It will be produced by Ariel Rechtshaid and Rostam Batmanglij of the band, and may be released as early as this coming spring. So, Vampire Weekend fans, in celebration, feel free to pour yourself a glass of horchata even though it’s not December anymore.
