Big Boi To Reunite With André 3000 On Frank Ocean's "Pink Matter"

1.

Big news out of the “A” today. It’s come to light that Big Boi is working on lyrics for a new version of the Frank Ocean and André 3000 collaboration, “Pink Matter,” which appeared on Ocean’s excellent channel ORANGE release. It’s been reported that Frank originally wanted both ATLiens on the track, but because that would have marked the first Outkast-featured cut in roughly six years, Three Stacks pushed for a solo appearance.

The air has apparently cleared and all parties seem comfortable moving forward with the new version. Big Boi took to tumblr over the weekend to share the above photo and stated, “Dropping a verse on this Frank Ocean ‘Pink Matter.’” After news of this story broke, the rapper then hopped on Twitter (below) to confirm that he is also penning lyrics for a new version of T.I.’s “I’m Sorry,” which currently features a verse from André. Both reworks are expected to drop in the coming weeks.
