There are very few Christmas songs out there that can top the upbeat and joyful tone of Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” It’s become a staple of the holiday season, and frankly things just wouldn’t seem as merry or bright without it. Before the taping of last night’s show, Mariah alongside Jimmy Fallon and The Legendary Roots Crew, performed a playful version of the song using “some instruments you’d find in an elementary school classroom.” There’s even a children’s choir mixed in there for good measure. This is classic holiday fun and Carey sounds just as lovely as she did 18 years ago when the hit first released in 1994.
