Kendrick Lamar‘s Good Kid, M.A.A.D City has been praised critically and commercially as one of the best albums released this year, and rightfully so. With mass appeal and interest at peaking levels it was only a matter of time before some remixes began to surface. Mad Decent affiliate Bird Peterson recently shared his take on “Swimming Pools,” a GKMC standout. While there aren’t any aggressive swings or sways in the overall feel of this track, Peterson’s energized tweaks make for a more “club ready” version that should still leave fans of the original satisfied.
