Passion Pit has always made its own very defined style of playful, hyperactive pop music. On their recent track “Constant Conversations,” the band slowed things down a bit by choosing to apply a smooth R&B vibe, which for them was equal parts different and refreshing.
On this remix, St. Lucia continued with that same theme by leaving most of the record’s original framework in place. However the synth enhancements do help give it that more lush, airy sound that we’ve grown accustomed to hearing from South African one-man band.
